"The football-themed restaurant was opened in July 2009 by Ricky Green, former Home Plate Diner founder. After a nine-year absence from the food industry, Ricky made a comeback by opening Red Zone Cafe. With 17 years as a restaurateur, he knows what locals like to eat and how to deliver it. Red Zone’s delicious down-home food, casual environment and affordable prices keep customers coming back again and again.
The cafe is a great place to dine with family and friends. “It’s a good place to hangout,” says Ricky. For breakfast, lunch and dinner, the restaurant offers their full menu all day, everyday. It’s a place were breakfast-for-dinner people, light eaters, children, Texas-size appetites and finicky eaters can all find a meal to satisfy their hunger."
"Red Zone Cafe has more than 25 breakfast items, including full breakfast plates featuring mouth-watering items like pork chops, ham steak, sausage or bacon with a side of eggs, toast and hashbrowns. Omelets, pancakes, waffles, French toast and breakfast burritos are also on the menu, along with everyday favorites.
Lunch and dinner ushers in more delicious dishes. Sandwiches, hamburgers, dinners and Mexican plates are not only filling but flavorful. Sandwiches on Red Zone’s menu are classic favorites like ham and cheese club, grilled chicken, roast beef and patty melt. Much loved on any menu are hamburgers and cheeseburgers – at Red Zone you can make it even better with double meat and/or double cheese.
Big hunger? Well, then choose one of 11 dinners – hand-breaded chicken fried steak, hamburger steak, catfish, shrimp, chicken strips, steak fingers, ham steak, hot roast beef, grilled chicken, liver and onions, and pork chops. Dinners are served with mashed potatoes, vegetable of the day, Texas toast and soup or salad.
Feel like Mexican food? Red Zone Cafe serves up Mexican delights like tacos (hard and soft), enchiladas (chicken, beef or cheese), and burritos. Give your food some kick; Red Zone is well known for its made-from-scratch hot sauce.
Red Zone Cafe is a family-friendly environment, and they have not forgotten about the little ones. For only $3.75 kids can choose a corndog, two chicken strips or a grilled cheese sandwich, all served with fries and a drink."
